Upon the arrival of rescuers, a stray dog who was later given the name Angela was found lying lifelessly in a muddy field.
Animal Aid Unlimited, India received a call about a dog that was discovered lying unconscious in a field submerged in water. The dog had a laceration on her face and a deep wound near her tail. The team immediately took the dog back to their hospital for treatment of her head injury. Angela, as they named her, had suffered from brain damage due to a severe blow to the head. Though she took her first steps after a week, she could not stand or walk on her own. Despite this setback, the rescuers showed unwavering determination in nursing Angela back to health. After providing two months of loving care and treatment, Angela’s recovery is awe-inspiring.
